Mizpah

Located in 90 feet of water 1 mile NE of the Palm Beach Inlet, this 185 foot Greek luxury liner lies upright and intact next to PC1170 a 165 foot patrol boat. The site is a protected fish sanctuary so spear fishing, shell collecting and lobstering are illegal. Sunk in 1968, the Mizpah is intact except for a split just forward of the upper deck and the removal of doors and portholes. The wreck has good natural lighting so lights aren’t really needed. Known best for having some of the largest moray eels on the east coast as residents as well as attracting large numbers of fish, eagle rays, and all of the soft corals that cover the wrecks. This is an advanced/certified wreck diver site.
