Eidsvag & Owens
Located in 80-90 feet of water, the Eidsvag is a 150 foot freighter and the Owens is a 125 foot freighter. Both sit upright on the bottom to form an artificial reef as part of Artificial Reef Site #2. Penetration of the cargo holds and holes blown into the sides make an interesting wreck dive. Sunk in 1985, these two wrecks are now covered in small sponges, corals and attract a variety of marine life. You can see Rolls Royce and Murphy’s Barge from the bow of the Owens. This is an intermediate/certified wreck diver site.
