Indian Shores Reef
Located in 40 feet of water about 11 miles from the Clearwater Pass marker #1 or 13 miles from the John’s Pass marker, this artificial reef is compiled of 3 wrecks, each over 200 feet long and 125 pillboxes. One of the wrecks, a barge, lies upside down. Begun in 1962 with 125 pillboxes, this site has been added to over the years with 3 wrecks, each over 200 feet long. The last wreck added a 240 foot barge, landed upside down and is often referred to as the “Upside Down Barge”.
