Sylvia (Tug)
Located in 80 feet of water, 8 miles S of Pensacola Pass, this 65 foot long tug has deteriorated over the years, but due to the large variety of marine life, shells, sand-dollars and starfish, the site remains very popular with novice to intermediate divers. The Sylvia Tug was sunk in 1990 as part of the Artificial Reef Program, this decomposing wreck sits on a sandy bottom and is home to a large variety of marine life. Underwater photography is nice here because of the fish in the area and the fact that visibility remains generally good.
