Pete Tide II
Located in 102 feet of water, this 180 foot oil field supply boat sits upright on the bottom about 12 miles S of Pensacola Pass. Although parts of the wreck can be seen at 60 feet, this might encourage the novice to go deeper than they should. The Pete Tide II was sunk in 1993 as part of the Artificial Reef program, the site attracts large schools of bait and predator fish. Once in awhile you’ll see Dolphin, Black Fin Tuna or Wahoo hanging around as well. You can get some nice underwater shots here when the visibility is good.
