Rio Miami

sea fans, sponges and marine life. This is a nice site for any level of diver – especially the novice wreck diver. In 1989, Hugh Down focused part of an episode of the 20/20 television show on the sinking and his own inaugural dive of the Rio Miami. Hurricane Andrew moved her a bit, but did very little damage. A great dive site for the novice wreck diver and those wanting fantastic underwater photography shots. Really nice coral, fan and sponge growth and lots of marine life.
