Erl King

Located in 20 feet of water about 3 miles east of Elliott Key, this shallow site is nice for novice divers and snorkelers. The site is a marine preserve. The outline of the hull still has metal hull plates in place. This 305 foot steamer ran aground on Long Reef in 1891. Some remnants of the wreck are still visible and make a nice novice dive. The site is also good for snorkelers. Not all that much to see.
