C-One

Located in 68 feet of water, close to the Concepcion wreck, about 2 miles northeast of Haulover in the Sunny isles Artificial Reef site – this 120 foot steel tug is easily penetrated and because of this and the depth, this is an intermediate dive site. Originally named Christina, this US Navy steel tug was sunk in 1990. It lies on a sandy bottom and has a 45 degree tilt to starboard. Enter the wreck through hatches, portholes or a large hole midship to explore the interior. Lots of large fish reside in the area and there are some stronger currents. Combined with a visit to Concepcion – this is a great afternoon dive site.
