Army Tank Two

Located in 48 feet of water just off Miami Beach, this M60 Army tank sits next to over 1000 tons of boulders. Nice dive for anyone – lots of photography opportunities. In June of 1994 the Dept. of Environmental Resource Management (DERM) added the rocks to the two tanks to make a more inviting fish habitat. The area is heavily populated by fish and lobsters. The tanks sport growth of hard and sort corals and spiny oysters that make them look like they’ve been underwater for many decades. This is a popular site for any level of diver.
