Mike's Wreck

Included in the Elbow Reef area, this wreck has several large pieces that make a great photographic backdrop. Depths to 25 feet offer lots of light and make it accessible to even the most novice diver and snorkelers as well. Lots of marine life in the area. Shallow depths and good visibility make this a very nice spot for the novice diver, snorkelers or those more experienced divers looking to finish the day with a shallow water dive. Parrot fish, Filefish, Barracuda and the occasional turtle, shark or ray may come to visit. This is considered one of the more colorful sites within the Elbow Reef system because of the abundance of elkhorn, brain and star corals. Large schools of tropical and baitfish frequent the area.
