Grecian Rocks

Three quarters of a mile from the statue “Christ of the Deep” in John Pennekamp State Park, this site is marked by buoys having the letter “G” on them. This is a shallow water dive ranging from 4 to 25 feet. A terrific novice or snorkeling area but be aware that parts of this site are designated Sanctuary Preserve Area (SPA). Large numbers of tropical fish inhabit the area. The reef is about .5 mile long and partially visible above water during low tide. Enjoy hand-feeding the fish, but cause no harm in this SPA designated site. Look for and old Spanish cannon that was added to the site a few years ago.
