Hudgins

Located 21 miles offshore and about 25 nautical miles from the Jetties in 105 feet of water, this intact 150 foot freighter is joined by a couple of old barges as well. Some natural reef formations help in attracting marine life to the site and visibility of about 50 feet make some nice underwater photography is available. Sunk in 1987 The Hudgins in upright and intact. Two other barges, one of them the “Little Wreck”, are part of this artificial reef system. There are some small natural reefs in the area and large schools of baitfish, Snapper, Amberjack and Spadefish are usually seen here.
