Berry Patch

At a depth of 71 feet, this is a fairly shallow dive for the weekend diver. There is not much left of the original structure but the debris field is home to a wide variety of marine life.The 65 foot tugboat, A.L. Spencer, was sunk in 1987 about 150 feet from the Ancient Mariner site as another of the 30 or so vessels sunk and maintained by the Broward and Palm Beach County Artificial Reef Programs in an effort to form an artificial reef.
